| My friend Phillip ran with me today. We ran from my house to Carlsbad. Its about 17 miles and we left early enough that we beat the heat. Phillip lead the way because he knew the best way to get there and stay on side walks and be safe. On our way we met a man who is visiting here from Canada. Nicest guy We shared about 5 miles with him and made a friend. |

| The run was so easy and finishing at the beach made it a bit better. |
